SEE/UNSEE at HERE

TICKETS | Monday, October 21st, 4:30-9:30p (our set will be around 8 or 9pm)

Lila Blue & their band (NOGA & Adam Cabo) will be playing a few songs from SEE/UNSEE, the queer folk musical we've been developing over the last few years inspired by the work and life of painter & mystic Hilma af Klint. This will be our first time sharing the work publicly in NYC, and it would mean a whole lot to see you there. We'll go on toward the end of the evening, but I recommend coming earlier to experience the full extent of this pre-election collective healing/community-building ritual, with healers, bodywork practitioners, and performances, curated by the brilliant Treya Lam.

SalOn! at Brick Aux

SalOn! is a quarterly gathering that brings together performance artists, comedians, chefs, scientists, theologians – anyone with something to share in a DIY, low-stakes setting – in one delightfully unpredictable night. Buildling on the tremendous legacy of Founding Artistic Director Theresa Buccheister, I am delighted to take on the role of Artistic Director, and to be joined by co-curator Matthew Antoci.

Sign up here to get a reminder & RSVP link for future SalOn!s, and if you want to get involved, let us know!

Flesh Fog | MFA Thesis performance

For my MFA Thesis I presented the first iteration of FLESH FOG, written & created by me in collaboration with Zoé Fonck, with sound by Lila Blue.

In the long wake of a life-altering night, the fractured parts of one woman navigate towards each other through a warped, sputtering, and foggy timescape.

≈ [almost equal to] | SLC Theatre

In November 2022 I directed ≈ [Almost Equal To] by Jonas Hassen Khemiri at Sarah Lawrence College.  A web of people wrestle with the indignities and absurdities of late-stage capitalism, asking: What power do we have to change our inherited financial realities and beliefs? What about the systems that create them?

Spout | SLC Reading series

This March I directed a week-long developmental workshop of Spout, a new play by Jeremy Lesifko-Bremer, as part of the Sarah Lawrence College First Look Reading Series. We used our time with performers to experiment with spatial, embodied and sonic manifestations of this poetic text. The week culminated in a lightly staged reading and talk back, moderated by Professor Mallory Catlett, which can be viewed here.

the GAP | SLC Downstage

In December 2021 I directed The Gap by Emma Goidel for the Sarah Lawrence College Downstage Theater Company. Photos and credits can be seen here.
